~ Regulatory Policies & Protocols ~
The CMTBC (College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia) has substantially revised the Interim Guidelines to Return to Practice (COVID-19) to reflect BC's transition to Step 3 of the Restart Plan and a change in focus to communicable disease prevention.
Do not attend an appointment if you are showing symptoms of communicable disease. If you are, please contact your RMT to re-schedule your appointment to a later date.
Please show up to your appointment on time. Your therapist will need time to maintain a safe environment by continuing to follow cleaning and disinfection protocols. If you are early, you may wait in your car or on the front porch until your therapist calls you in.
Please wash or sanitize your hands upon entering the clinic space.
The use of masks will follow current PHO guidelines. Single-use masks are available for you in office if you would like one.
Physical distancing, where possible, is advised.
It is your RMT's professional obligation to not provide in-person care if they are showing symptoms of communicable disease. In this case your appointment will be re-scheduled to a later date.
Detailed information on the guidelines can be found here. Your health and safety continues to be of utmost priority.
